The 599 GTB is the substitute of 575 M Maranello. Its a two-seater coupe with front-central motor . Pininfarina took over from designing this precious car with front central motor based on the Ferrari of the fifties like the 250 GT in which Vanderbrink has inspired to launch their 630 GTO.

Motor V12 to 65, 6.0 liters. Maximum power 620 CV to 7,600 rpm. The motor is derived of the Enzo model and the relation weigh/power is 2.6 kg /CV. The chassis comes totally made of aluminum, what has made his total weight diminish to 1,612 kg ( 118 kg less than his predecessor).

Ferrari showed the 599 GTB to the public the February 28 with occasion of the Geneva automobile saloon.
