Hyundai i30

The i30 is a model from similar dimensions to the Opel Astra or the Renault Megane.
Its origin is in the same project of the Kia Cee that shares platform and mechanicses with. And with this new model the Korean brand initiates a new denomination system of their models. The denominated i10 ( Atos successor ), i20 ( this one is going to replace the Getz ), i30 ( between the Lantra and the Accent ) i40 ( Sonata equivalent ) and i50 ( the top of this gamma with the Grandeur and GX models).

This beauty comes equipped with Diesel motors ( 90, 115 and 143 CV ) and gasoline ( 109, 122 and 143 CV ). All motors have 4 cylinders and 4 valves by cylinder. They come with three finish and equipment levels: Classic, Confort, Style, Style Sport and Premium. An automatic four-speed gearbox for 115 122 and 143 CV’S motors will be available in October.

Is a very comfortable car to drive through city or by road to a normal speed. The suspension is comfortable, the cabin is very isolated acoustically and all the related commands with driving control are handled with softness. The stability control have equipment series in all the versions.

The KIA EEC ’d, has an excellent habitability and good finishings. The top trunk capacity is 340 pounds what allow us to travel with a couple of travelling bags.

The only optional element in any case is the metallized painting; that is what it doesn’t have it from fabric cannot have it from an optional way. Between the elements that they are absent you can find the navigator system, the xenon lights, the automatic locks or the automatic ignition.

For the moment the i30 is made it in Korea. Starting from 2009 it will be made in a plant that Hyundai is building in the Czech Republic.

The price oscillates between 15,060 euros the Hyundai i30 1,4 Classic model and 21,560 euros the 2,0 Premium 143 CV, both with gasoline motorization.
