Mclaren loose all of their points
McLaren-Mercedes have lost their constructor’s championship points for the 2007 season and will pay a record fine of $100 million USD, the FIA World Motor Sport Council decided today. The council ruled that McLaren will be excluded from the 2007 constructors’ championship points standing, but the drivers retain their points scored so far and will not be affected in the drivers’ championship.
The Spaniard accepted the last weekend in Italy having ratified to the International Federation of the Automobile ( FIA ) that he had knowledge before the season begins that he knew some secrets of Kimi Räikkönen and Felipe Massa his rivals in the fight for the title.
