Venom GT
The assistants of Hennessey Performance Engineering team defeated in velocity to the Bugatti Veyron with a bi-turbo Viper. But it seems that isn’t enough for them. Now they are working in a new super sportive car with central rear motor, the same that the Viper has and with the one that is capable to gets to the 1000 CV of potency.
The new super sportive car named Venom GT will have a weight about 1,225 kgs. With the equivalent of one horsepower by each 1,2 kgs , the sportive will be able to go from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2,5 seconds or to continue to the 300 km/h in 14 seconds.
The image is a design from Steve Everitt for Hennessey. His sketch shows a low slung coupe that has a rear retractile flap, under the front and deep area on the lateral air intakes, as well as in the roof.
This new concept car will not be ready until 2009, when Hennessey plans to have a couple of conceptual units ready to exhibit at the moment in which they will be able to evaluate if the vehicle wakes up enough interest to begin to produce a bigger number of units.
