The Japanese brand goes back to the offensive with a new model impregnated of the sportive character that they named Zoom-Zoom. The new Mazda 6 is bigger, more equipped, with bigger quality materials and at the same time more light and less contaminant.

The Mazda 6 is available in the Spanish franchisees. Has three chassis (4 doors, 5 doors and wagon ) and three finishing levels ( Active, Sportive and Luxury ).

The known 1,8 of 120 CV to 5,500 rpm and 165 Nm torque motor to 4,300, and the 2,0 with 147 CV to 6,500 rpm and 184 Nm torque to 4,000- take care of the gasoline motorization.

Now arrives an innovative motor: 2,5 liters ( substituting the 2,3 from the previous model ). Develops 170 CV to 6000 rpm with a consumption of 8,1 l/100km in combined use ( approximately a 7% less than his predecessor ).

The Mazda 6 also has a diesel version. The CRTD 2,0 of 140 CV to 3,500 rpm and 330 Nm of maximum torque to 2,000 rpm.

The transmission runs in charge of a 5-gear for the 1,8 motor and six-gear for the rest of the motorizations. Like option for the 2,0 gasoline motor you can choose a five speeds automatic transmission with manual mode.

The Diesel motor that will be added to the series in February is also in the first generation of the CRTD turbo-diesel common-rails of 2,0 liters that develops 140 CV to 3,500 rpm and 330 Nm of maximum torque with only 2,000 spins.

You can see the bigger outside dimensions of the Mazda 6 projected in the inside with more space for legs and shoulders that enables a good habitability with 5 occupants.

The trunk counts with 519 liters in the 4 doors version and 510 in the 5 doors version. With all the seats knocked down the capacity increase up to 1,702 liters.

The enormous tires that hold the Michelin Pilot PS2 335/25 ZR20 and 285/30 ZR20 besides of pretty they been redesigned to lighten their weight.

As to the suspension: the shock absorbers are Magnetic Ride by magnetic fluid. They also reduced weight applying carbon in the chassis to all the susceptible elements to lose weight for example a carbon roof ( - 3,5 kilos ).
