With the actual price of the Oil barrel in 100$ and with the mobility issues that are in the biggest cities, The designing departments from the car manufacturers squeeze all their ideas to give to their fans, compact and economic vehicles with low consumptions and more respectfully with environmental issues, but the C Buggy does not stand out mainly for it.

This concept car was made for having fun. Roofless, without windshield and with two big lateral openings instead of doors that guarantee a bigger space sensation.

His chassis is modular, with 4 17′ wheels and equipped with Limited Slip Differential. His 1,6 liter motor develops 155 CV of potency, the C Buggy combines agility and potency. With a gasoline 1,6 liter motor, that develops 155 CV, what allows to circulate by all kind of roads with no difficulty.

His ratio weight/potency calls my attention : 155 CV for 850 kg / CV. What would turn it into a not very pleasant vehicle for the car insurance companies. If we had to decant to convert the C Buggy into an urban vehicle, with 900cc and 60 CV motor with electronic injection we will be close to “laughing” consumptions. For example a Smart ForTwo 45 Pure 61CV weights 825 kg and his average consumption is 4,7 l/100 km.

The C Buggy has safety belts harness style, airbags, safety arcs that preserve each one of the occupants, and a robust and encircling chassis.

As anecdotic detail is pertinent to mention the compass that they incorporated on the top superior side of the instrument panel. As if it the future buyer of this vehicle wanted to initiate the Paris - Dakar like if it were the year 1900 instead of equipping a good GPS receiver.
