This car is here to substitute the SportCoupe, model that enters on the market with a distinct purpose: do not stay behind in the compact coupe segment, in the one that will have to compete with the Audi A3, Golf, BMW Serie 1 or Volvo C30. For it the Bavarian brand is setting the price underneath 30,000 euros, since the previous SportCoupe was over this number and they sell few vechicle in comparison with their rivals.

The Mercedes CLC has been designed based on his predecessor chassis but his front and posterior section has been redesigned. We can see new lighthouses in the front and bumper, in the meantime we earn visibility at the rear section prescinding from the flap that the rear gate mounted at the end of the SportCoupe.

He will share mechanics with the actual C Class, thus will employ 4 cylinder motors with 200 and 220 CDI in Diesel and 180 and 200 Kompressor in gasoline. plus other 6 V Cylinders, the 230 and 350 with 204 and 272 horse power respectively. All of them come from the fabric with six-gear manual transmission and as option other automatic transmission with 5 gear torque converter in the 4 cylinders, leaving the known 7G Tronic of 7 gears only for the V6.

The suspensions have not gotten modified. If we want a more sportive “specimen” we can have the “sports package” that will offer some more esthetic esthetic complements and different suspensions with less height.

The interior measures do not change, although there are several concessions to the design, like petty details in matte aluminum.

There are three finishing levels:

* Sports.
* Exclusive.
* Comfort.

Each one of them will incorporate audio gadgets and several GPS. The most complete will be able to store all the maps from Europe and 4 GB to store music in MP3 format.
