Chevy Volt and Tesla Roadster
The Wired magazine has published a Vaporware compilation of the 2007 year products.
They are products that were announced like a great new thing. Their commercialization was near see the light but the months passed by, the years passed by and the consumers waited and waited and the products never arrived. This was Chevy Volt case.
The Chevrolet continues announcing their production for the year 2010 but still there are a large number of unknowns on the air. One of the main points is about the batteries. Nobody knows the weight neither the production costs of some batteries that according to their characteristics they would affect the vehicle benefits and aerodynamics . The car would have a 100 volts electric socket for his recharge and a 40 miles autonomy ( 64 km ), before that his little “1 liter and 3 cylinders ( 53 Kw )” began to complicate the things.
The Chevrolet Volt appeared in the main newspapers and magazine covers ( Popular Science, The New York times, Wired .. ) But hasn’t been produced in series yet. If you want one you can make your reserve for 5,000 dollars.
